Bringing the café atmosphere to the screen
SORE is a fictional café brand developed as an independent Inkfish Studio project. An ivory and espresso palette, oversized serif typography and parallax photography create a warm, unhurried atmosphere. Responsive layouts carry that experience across desktop and mobile.
From discovering the menu to making a reservation
Visitors can search dishes, filter categories, read the café story, find its location and request a reservation. The form checks dates, opening hours, party size and booking lead time before saving requests to a shared database.
New reservations arrive as pending requests for the manager to review and confirm in the CMS. The flow focuses on reservations without online payment.
Content and schedules under the manager's control
An authenticated CMS supports menu items, prices, photos, availability, café information, opening hours and closed dates. Managers can update reservation statuses and prepare WhatsApp messages for manual sending.
Public pages are server-rendered with metadata and a sitemap to help search engines understand the content. The website runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database.
