Close the Door gameplay: a pixel-art podcast host behind a microphone asks a question in a speech bubble, with three answer choices below.

About

Close the Door is a browser game written in casual Indonesian. You've suddenly been invited onto a podcast. The host opens with small talk, like "Was there anything from your childhood you thought was really fancy?", and the conversation goes wherever your answers take it. Each turn you pick one of three replies, clarify when the host gets you wrong, or steer to another topic.

Before the mic turns on, you choose why you came (to clear up a misunderstanding, because you're trending, or just to chat) and how you read the room: from subtle (only the host's expression) to guided (numbers and hints).

The host's lines are written with help from Google Gemini, so every episode opens differently. If the AI quota runs out, the conversation carries on locally. Progress can be saved and exported.

Why we made it

To see how far a small web game can go with AI-written dialogue: a host who reacts to what you say, inside a pixel-art studio that feels like a real set.

It's also practice for the kind of character-driven, interactive experiences we can build for brands: campaign games, quizzes, or a conversation with a mascot.
